This summer, Monaco will toast a true storybook romance with the wedding of His Serene Highness Prince Albert II and Miss CharleneWittstock. On July 2, following a civil ceremony the day before, the couple will marry in the historic Palace Courtyard before thousands of international and local guests.

Set in Style: The Jewelry of Van Cleef & Arpels

This extraordinary exhibition examines the renowned jewelry firm’s significant historical contributions to jewelry design and design innovation. Since its 1906 opening on the Place Vendôme in Paris, Van Cleef & Arpels has played a leading role in style and creative design. The exhibition features more than 300 works, including jewels, timepieces and fashion accessories by Van Cleef & Arpels, many of which were created exclusively for celebrities and nobility, including Princess Grace of Monaco. www.cooperhewitt.org

Coinciding with this summer’s royal wedding Monaco’s Grimaldi Forum will present -- from July 11 to September 11 -- The Magnificence and Grandeur of Royal Houses in Europe.
Chronicling the lives and loves from the noble courts of 21 principalities and kingdoms, this outstanding exhibition showcases more than 700 sumptuous artifacts, priceless and important objets d’art from Europe’s most famous royal dignitaries and couples over four centuries.

The Princess Grace Foundation-USA is a not-for-profit, publicly-supported organization, headquartered in New York City and founded more than 25 years ago by Prince Rainier III of Monaco in honor of his wife, Princess Grace [Kelly].
